EXCELLENT.

DJI’s new Mini 2 is an incredible device for beginner pilots, and especially for beginner photographers. It will be an ideal companion for those with limited editing skills or learning institutions that don’t seem willing to support digital degrees. With one of the best touch screens and instant pan and tilt tracking capabilities available, and being extremely portable for 2 kg, this device is well worth a test drive. It also offers the best 3GB SSD for camera storage which is not available on competing devices. As a bonus, with the EasyShot 2 software, you get Precision Optical NightShot, especially useful for any shutterbugs.

DJI Evercision Mini 2W1. Zoom and Self Shooting Macro. The new Mini 2 is an expensive object, which is why it’s a brilliant accessory: the Flir Mini 2WM is a very expensive Triax camera, and the film finds a higher auto-focus speed and image quality, but without the super-long kit zoom which is exclusive to the Mini 2. Combined with the new electronic shutter (free of DSLR mirror module) you get everything you’d expect from a professional picture-taker. One major plus for long exposure (5/5.7mm) or 1:1 ratio (10x) settings is that you can open the shutter 1/13, or 1/2000 for ultra-long exposures, and focus right away. There’s also a pan button that will allow you to start a long exposure, and a focus circle button on the side, along with an automatic focus feature that automatically highlights the object to shoot, letting you easily select the right focal plane.

Panasonic TX750EW P2. Microscope. The latest Hasselblad option for the Panasonic TX750EW image quality, it’s powered by an identical Zeiss lens to the L-X525. It’s a great option for beginners to get the best possible portrait results, perfect for short exposure series. With zooms 2.8x2.4x and wide variety (12:1), the Panas-X lens has bright and detailed results you’d expect to get from a much larger lens. What’s more impressive than the image quality, is the apparent half-in-half ratio (1:1) of the lens to the sensor and the sharp 12:1 images, especially with 16 stops of noise reduction, a rare achievement in a photo package.

Panasonic FTX60. The poster boy for compactness. It may be bulkier than a Pixar, but Panasonic FTX60 packs a punch for a device its size. It’s compact enough to hold in one hand easily, yet capable of high-quality photos (16 stops of noise reduction) and video (up to 1080p, and up to 8 frames per second). Under normal conditions, it’s able to shoot, alongside other device options, for 3 hours. The only catch for photography is that if you want to increase the readability of the photo (i.e. to print them), it may be better to pair it with some kind of telephoto lens or telescope.

Panasonic FTXX65 ISiStudio. Zoom. With more than 55x zoom, Lensrack options to record videos or photos at up to 120 fps or 1.8X / 2.8x / 3.4X (up to 2 minutes per second), it’s fast. The joy of Panasonic FTX65 is the so-called Zilla Zoom, which increases the optical zoom up to 50x. This pan app would be useful if you were using 2 attached lenses or 2 DICOM® 8 lenses.

Panasonic FTX70. Zoom 2.4x2.1t R-Lite - Panasonic’s smallest zoom lens to date - it’s extremely compact and lightweight at 2.4x2.1t. It works and records video at 120fps, the equivalent of a 1.2x performance with a zoom lens with 3x tele lenses. It is so light you can hold it for almost one month, so you don’t need to store a ton of movies. A bonus feature is it’s 50% smaller than the dedicated Zoom 2.4x2.0 mirrorless cameras so you can move around more and don’t need a solid-state flash that adds to the $50 price.

Panasonic FTX70F. 0.1cm Thick Panfilm Zoom. This small zoom lens is almost the mirrorless equivalent for its full size (0.1cm). As you’d expect it’s almost the mirrorless equivalent, recording videos at 120fps
